A welcome return to rehearsals at Bramshaw

Having temporarily moved to other premises over recent months, the orchestra had a cheery return to our usual rehearsal space for our first practice session in 2022.  The main hall at Bramshaw looks great following completion of the refurbishment work (after flood damage to the building in 2019) and we had plenty of space to spread out and make some noise!

Against the backdrop of the ever-changing Covid-19 situation it is reassuring to return to a familiar rehearsal space that, amongst other benefits, allows easy access to our library of music.

To start the new year, we’re enjoying some challenging new music as well as revisiting some of our favourite pieces from past performances. Plans are coming together swiftly for our next concert – news on that soon we hope!

We are currently on the lookout for new players and have seats for additional strings (especially viola and double bass), brass, percussion and flute. Do come along to join us at Bramshaw Village Hall, Row Hill, Bramshaw SO43 7JE (near J1 of the M27) – you can email us for more information.
